Still taking the tablets…

Half the night

We couldn’t move my bedroom furniture around last week so my handyman/carpenter is coming to help me do it today. So I was up half the night preparing for it and moving what I could without making any noise.

No deal Brexit

Now the Supermarkets are trying to prepare for a No deal Brexit. Other companies are trying to do the same. This is going to be a disaster! Hopefully parliament can stop it!

My ignorance

That shows my ignorance. It is true our sunset here in Norfolk is earlier than in London but our sunrise is as well. That makes more sense!

Shorter

It is really noticeable now how much shorter our days have become already. I also have noticed how my days here in Norfolk are shorter than in London.

Lily

I was worried about my cat Lily yesterday. She didn’t eat anything and I am not sure how much she drank. However, I did see her eat something late into the night – when it was cooler. I will keep an eye on her!

Compulsory worship

The law, as it stands, requires all schools to hold collective Christian worship in their assemblies, without providing any meaningful, inclusive alternative. It’s time that schools offered inclusive assemblies – and aren’t forced to hold these prayers.

Nudging my face

I know I had to get up this morning because I am expecting a delivery but I didn’t want to budge. However, my cat Lily wanted me up so, besides the miaowing, she was nudging my face with her nose. Nobody could sleep through that!

Whaley Bridge

I do feel for all those poor people from Whaley Bridge who have been evacuated after a dam wall part collapses in Derbyshire. It must be terrible!

A problem

As it is difficult to get into my new wardrobes we are going to move all of my bedroom furniture around today. I wish my back wasn’t giving me a problem this morning.

Oh dear!

Things are looking bleak. Is there any hope for us with this Prime Minister? What with Trump in USA and Boris here – can things get any worse? Yes, they probably could… and the value of the £1 is tumbling. Oh dear!
