Still taking the tablets…

Eating the flesh

Things we are brainwashed into accepting. Not only are little children taught about ‘burning in hell’ and ‘the devil’ but they are taught the wafer they are swallowing has been turned into human flesh. To teach such things to the young is, l believe, setting them up for long term problems and very primitive.

Checking my emails

I check my emails more often these days because I have a tablet now  and it is so much easier. It used to be every couple of days. But there is a different email address attached to my website which I haven’t checked for quite some time. I must admit I can’t even remember how to access it which I must ask my son about. I very rarely get an email on it and have just forgotten to check it for a long time. I missed one recently so must check more often.

I offend

I write, as an atheist, not to offend but to try to rescue people nevertheless I offend. My son says “serves them right for deferring responsibility for their actions and deeds to a fictional character in order to take no real ownership for their life choices and their consequences”

Every other day

I have been trying to wake early – about 5 am so I can do an hour on the exercise bike after breakfast and before the start of my day. So far l seem to be managing it every other day which is an improvement on before. I do my spell on the bike in three increments of twenty minutes each in the front bedroom – my left eye looking out the window and my right eye watching the TV, otherwise it is very boring.

Molly and Lily

I am besotted by my two ragdoll cats – Molly and Lily. Lily affectionately bites the end of my nose without hurting me or breaking skin. And Molly still tries to suckle on my ear lobe – something l have tried to stop her from doing since she was very little. Although sisters they are very different from each other and when they are not grooming each other or sleeping together – their playing turning into a squabble – they are both competing as to which one of them is going to sit on my knee or even across my chest.

My monitor

I spent the whole day praying- well, as much as an atheist prays – that my computer monitor would be okay and I would be able to use my computer to order my groceries. It was gone seven when Dick came, he hadn’t been home long from work. He replaced my monitor plug and cable and – just like magic- it sprung to life. Phew!

Yesterday

I spent all day yesterday trying to do my blog. I typed it out alright but my tablet wouldn’t publish it. People came to help and we eventually managed to publish it but then my website went down. Finally I got help from my son who was poorly and then my computer monitor died. Then, to top it all, my son found a very important email to my website which had been sitting there since early November and I knew nothing about. What a day!

Apologies

I do get a bit intense sometimes. I think it’s because I spend so much time alone and have too much time to over think everything. Not a good state of affairs and something l can’t rectify but all l can do is apologise.

I tried again

I thought I had reached the day this year when I decide it is too cold for me to chance going out especially after the time I had getting to the post office during the week. But the sun came out yesterday so I decided to chance going to the corner shop . it was a bit difficult but I managed to get there and back okay.

A lump

I have found a lump at the base of my thumb. I don’t know what it is – l think it’s possibly a cyst but as I keep bothering it and wondering what it is l will take my lump to the doctor.
