And now, to top it all, my son has Covid again. He always seems to get it when his partner isn’t around. Hopefully he won’t feel too bad this time!

Someone who is dear to my heart is seriously ill in hospital. Possibly post operative meningitis. I can’t really concentrate on anything else.

It says on Sky News tonight that the police have said that the potential for domestic abuse before the England match is high risk.

It is wonderful living in the free world where each one of us can discuss differing opinions on any subject without fear or favour unlike many other parts of the world.

Religion is just another name for superstition and that is just common sense.

They ask me often if I will help with door knocking or leaflet distribution by the Labour Party (of which I am a member) l would dearly love to but my health will not allow it but I am pleased that I can at least have a Labour banner in my front garden of which I am very proud.

I actually had the thought yesterday that maybe it was warm enough to go back into short sleeves so I asked two really good friends that I was chatting with. They both came back with a definitely not. What has happened to our Summer? And I would be really lost without my friends.

I have watched several of the General Election debates on television with representatives from the different political parties. The Tories are getting very desperate and Labour not doing too badly. Only 3 weeks to go.

I am in a rush this morning as the Boiler Engineer is coming to do the annual service on it and I am a little disappointed that I had to log my weight which was 0.5 kg up. But I have taken myself back in hand.
