I had to get up this morning because I am expecting a delivery but I’m so tired that I am still not functioning as a normal awake person. My coffee doesn’t seem to be hitting where it needs to.

Yesterday was full of parcel deliveries and letters and envelopes to stuff for the Labour Party and then the Technician arrived to say that my hard drive had died and I needed a new box so I lost all my recordings. So I ate late and was really tired by bedtime… and then I couldn’t sleep so four hours later I am up and dressed and wide awake. Oh well – what a day!

This has been a week of technology issues. Yesterday my television box started playing up for a few hours before it packed up completely. Technician coming out later. Hopefully l won’t lose all my recordings.

What is going on in American politics is very unsettling. Hopefully good will triumph and it will all be sorted out but l don’t think it is going to be that easy!

So Moscow is having the odd drone attack. Sounds terrible but it was about time that they got a taste of their own medicine. Maybe the people there will have a think!

I have had a problem with technology this morning. I was told to turn my hub off at the wall, check all the connections and turn it all back on again. I then had to wait and thankfully it is all working again.

I bought myself a new dress in the sale with some birthday money and then yesterday I bought some cycling shorts and some leggings to go with it. I have never had leggings before and will try both when they arrive to see which would be best.

I completely overslept this morning. Too late to have breakfast in bed. Just having my mug of coffee now!

I have been thinking… if you think you are praying to the gods or saints or angels you must believe that they can hear you so you must believe that they are listening to you 24/7 so you must believe that they are listening to everyone on the planet all of the time which is pretty incredible and totally illogical. So you have to agree with the psychiatrists that nobody is listening!

I went to the surgery for a double appointment. Firstly for tests with the Health Care Assistant and then to see my doctor. She did an ECG, blood pressure, height, weight, and blood tests. Then there were the questions about life style. Then back into the waiting area until the doctor called me in for a general checkup and more questions. So far so good. Then volunteer driver and friend took me for a McMuffin meal as I had fasted for twelve hours and needed coffee and breakfast. Very yummy!
