I’m trying to wake up. It’s cold and wet outside and I’m glad I don’t have to go out. Time to sort out lots of things like my meds so l suppose I should get on with it but feeling pretty lazy so I’ll wait a bit. Ha ha I do sound pretty pathetic.

I just ordered in one crepe with lemon and sugar plus lemon sorbet ice cream and whipped cream. It was very yummy and I won’t eat again today.

So I now have a wretched urinary tract infection, l thought I was over it but not so lucky even though I have finished the antibiotics I have been changing my Tena pants every day but I think I will have to double that to morning and night. I didn’t want to do that because they are expensive. It’s a nuisance.

There was someone coming with a perching stool for my kitchen today but I saw a picture over the weekend and it is far too big for my kitchen. So I cancelled it a little earlier. It’s also very ugly. Why do designers seem to think that’s not important.

I have an upset tummy this morning. I hate it. It really is quite awful sorting everything out. There are medications which I was very glad to be able to use. Hopefully it will settle now.

I’m supposed to be having my hair done if my hairdresser is well enough today. She was too unwell yesterday.

I have a load of new meds to get used to. I have read all the leaflets and have promptly forgotten it all. Oh dear!

I phoned the surgery with a message for my GP as requested and, as she isn’t in today, it has been actioned by someone else who is sending someone in to run bladder checks. I must be patient.

My friend came this morning and I had two picture frames that were too big for my little photos so we found some others that would fit and she framed them and put them on the wall. Brilliant!

Trying the full amount of the Gabapentin today. So far I am feeling pretty drunk and a little stiff but the pain factor is better than before. But early days.
