I couldn’t get to sleep so spending the night in my armchair which somehow enables me to doze off. My mind has been racing about me being scammed including the fact that he phoned again this evening and I confronted him. He kept declaring his innocence but ended it all with “fuck you” before he hung up.

Pretty shaken up at the moment but hopefully I haven’t been badly affected but I have been victim of Impersonation scam. I couldn’t really understand half of what was being said to me as the guy had a heavy accent. But I have had to get my card cancelled and altering things that haven’t gone through yet. Awful awful thing to go through.

I saw the dentist yesterday. She is really nice and we chatted about my spinal wedge fracture and that my mouth is in a good condition and needs no treatment and my plastic hardware is going to last me at least another year when I will return.

So the talk has been on Irish Reunification since Donald Trump decided to speak on it this weekend. He also mentioned Scotland, Wales… I will wait as patiently as I can to see if it leads anywhere.

Nearly bedtime. It’s been a quiet weekend. I don’t have much to say for myself but looking forward to being in bed.

Yes, I have been struggling a bit but not anything that can’t be sorted by some extra sleep. The days have just flown past so quickly. I’m glad we have reached the weekend.

So I have come downstairs again tonight. I don’t think I’m going to sleep anytime soon. Watching The Wrap on Sky News and aware that I can’t take anymore pain meds until breakfast time. Oh well! It’s better in my armchair than to toss and turn in bed sometimes. Most nights I have no problem.

I have had a big roast dinner and a pudding and a glass of wine and l am feeling rather stuffed. It’s an opportunity to eat lots of veggies and it will set me up for the week. Yummy!

Ooh Friday again. I love Fridays. I don’t have to get up early for any reason and the thought of that is really good. Although I am a pensioner so it’s probably my state of mind that encourages me to get up early ish during the week.

My back is hurting a lot today. I think about my fall and how I kept being told I had bruised my muscles and it will take a long time to heal. It wasn’t until I decided to visit A & E three weeks later that I discovered l have a wedge fracture of the spine and I am now on strong painkillers going forward. I was on morphine and then codeine at first but they really mess with your head and I am on different painkillers now.
