I got up late this morning so I have only just finished doing the stuff I usually do on a Thursday morning. I went a little mad when I was ordering a black bag which I will need soon. I just spent more than I meant to. It arrived yesterday and I love it. Definitely worth every penny.

I have been somewhat preoccupied lately and only just realised I haven’t written my diary. Just had a slice of lemon tart. Not quite the name on the label but tasted good.

Having a good day today. I spent most of last night in the armchair, sometimes sleeping, but hoping l have a better night tonight. But you never know!

I usually read my New Statesman on a Saturday but somehow I find myself watching Jonathan Creek on the television. Oh well… I will see how it goes.

I was looking for clothes in plain black and ended up with quite a long black dress but I have been thinking that I don’t really feel happy in a dress without leggings or jeggings or something. I have now bought something more like me and today I sent the long dress back because it was exactly as received including the label. It’s a very long time, like many many years since I wore clothing without jeans or leggings or jeggings.

My friend gave me a bunch of lavender from her garden. It smells absolutely lovely and seems to go on and on!

It’s been quite a day! I seem to have been busy non stop. What a day!

I ordered a roast dinner which was a really nice meal and I enjoyed every mouthful. It’s been a nice day and I had a call from my son even though I didn’t have much to say for myself. It is lovely to hear his voice.

Humanist marriages are to be made legal in England and Wales. They already are in Scotland and the North of Ireland. Excellent News!!

I am not really with it this morning – I have done a few things but not really properly awake. Maybe after lunch.
