Still taking the tablets…

53 MPs

So 53 Tory MPs have now resigned in the last 48 hours from their government jobs. A number of cabinet ministers tried to persuade Boris to resign but he wouldn’t. I have never seen anything like this before.

Holding on

So two cabinet ministers quit yesterday and we all thought that this is it and more would follow and that this would be the end of Boris. But although many junior ministers left nobody else did and he is still holding on. What will happen next I don’t know and we will have to wait and see.

A relief!

I have a date for my endoscopy but couldn’t find anyone to look after me afterwards should I have sedation. I thought I would have to have gas and air but a really good friend stepped up and rescued me. What a relief!

Qigong classes

I received an email telling me that my daily Qigong classes would no longer be happening due to a family emergency. I will have to find something else.

Nice visit

My son and his partner came to visit yesterday. They stopped at a Waitrose on the way and bought food which they cooked for lunch when they got here. It was really nice to see them and they came with news about their house which they moved into recently. A really nice visit.

What next!

They’re now saying that Parliament is not a safe place to work. One after another MP is suspended for groping or sexual abuse or watching porn in the Commons etc.And that’s alongside partying during lockdown. What next!

Qigong class

I do my Qigong class after breakfast most mornings. It sets me up for the day.

Why we considered

It looks like the Russian attack on the shopping mall in Ukraine was nothing other than a deliberate attack on civilians. I don’t know why we even considered anything else!

Fish and chips

A very good friend is coming later and, weather permitting, we are going to have fish and chips in the garden. I haven’t seen her for ages so really looking forward to it.

Camera up

I went to the hospital yesterday. They are going to do several procedures including a camera up. Not too jolly!
