Inflation hits the highest level for 40 years. The Chancellor said they were doing all they could but nobody believes the government anymore. Not surprising.

Whilst waiting for my energy bill I keep glancing at my smart meter which shows the pence per hour is at least double what it was just a few weeks ago. Eek!

I have a hospital appointment coming up. I am wondering if I should arrange hospital transport this time. I had difficulty getting to the department and back last time so probably need a wheelchair.

I am going to have to be very careful with money going forward… not that I wasn’t anyway but I have been a bit naughty and treated myself a few times when I can’t really afford it. I haven’t received my energy bill yet!

I have been really naughty this week. I have had three take aways so haven’t lost any weight. I don’t know what came over me!

Apparently the government is going to stop illegal schools which aren’t registered. But they still haven’t done anything to stop faith schools which segregate children according to a religion.

The Labour leader is being investigated for eating during lockdown. Maybe it’s because he had a beer with it but he was working with others and stopped to have some food. We will have to wait and see whether he is fined.

I haven’t been able to do my Qigong class for over a week which is down to their technical issues. Hopefully they will be back today.

Prince Charles is going to be doing the State Opening of Parliament. The Queen was going to be brought in by wheelchair but it is still too much for her. I do like the Queen.

I am just watching the Russians at their Victory Day Parade in Moscow. President Putin says Russia must ensure that the “horror of a global war will never be repeated” .
