Still taking the tablets…

The doctor

I went to see the doctor on Monday about my mental health. She said it’s time I had a review and she has referred me. I will wait and see what happens but I have spent a very long time on my own.

Lunch

My friend came over for lunch yesterday. We had one of those half baked baguettes each that you put in the oven with cheese and tomatoes and I opened a bottle of Shiraz. Really good visit.

Very confusing

Very confusing is the advice by government on mask wearing. They did say we wouldn’t have to and now they are saying we should. I am just going to carry on like before.

Belated visits

I have some friends coming this week and next. I was going to see them for my birthday so these are belated visits. I am really looking forward to seeing them.

Worrying

Many people including friends of mine have deleted the NHS test and trace app from their mobile s. It’s a bit worrying.

Football

I don’t know a thing about football and I don’t understand a few things. The song about football coming home – is it a particular football – perhaps it’s signed or something or is it the trophy in which case I think they would sing so. And isn’t it a European trophy? And I thought we had left Europe!

Locked up

I am looking forward to seeing my friends next week or so. In the meantime, I hope my doctor doesn’t have me locked up.

Self isolation

It is my last day of self isolation today. It will make quite a difference even though I am sort of shielding still. I will be able to see my friends – have visitors again. How lovely!

Confirmation

We had the confirmation that masks are going to be optional even though the number of cases is shooting up. With my breathing problems I find wearing a mask very difficult but I don’t want them stopped at the moment.

Masks

They are now saying that we won’t have to wear masks from July 19th. With the number of cases rising this doesn’t make sense.
