Most of the conflicts in the world have been and continue to be on the grounds of religion. People are programmed from an early age with whatever religion it happens to be and they in turn teach it to their offspring. This programming is quite thorough and very hard to shake off. Complete madness!
Sunny day
Fri 26th Feb, at 11:39 am | Deirdre | Diary
A lovely sunny day today. Makes me look forward to meeting one other person in my garden from 8th March. It always raises the spirit when the sun comes out.
A lot of antipsychotics
Thu 25th Feb, at 09:57 am | Deirdre | Diary
I take such a lot of medication for my different ailments. Still quite a lot of antipsychotics. When I get up in the morning I sort out my tablets for the day on auto pilot. Sometimes I get stuck halfway through and then I don’t know where I am. Really confusing!
Ruling classes
Wed 24th Feb, at 09:12 am | Deirdre | Diary
When we look back into the past and the way the English/British ruling classes treated those in the colonies but those very same English ruling classes treated the ordinary English people in the same way and they are still doing it. How many of the government went to Eton?
The vet
Tue 23rd Feb, at 09:27 am | Deirdre | Diary
The vet gave Lily another B12 injection and said that we would give her another week and if her tummy still isn’t right then it will be steroid tablets which are the last thing to try as they will shorten her life.
Not allowed
Mon 22nd Feb, at 08:54 am | Deirdre | Diary
Today we are going to be told about relaxation of lockdown and what it will mean so far. I don’t think a visit from my son and partner will be allowed quite yet.
Rude awakening
Sun 21st Feb, at 10:25 am | Deirdre | Diary
I had a rude awakening this morning. At 7.50 I awoke with Lily (the cat) throwing up followed by her other end. So I had to clean up the mess and scrub the carpet. Not the way I like to wake up.
High heels
Sat 20th Feb, at 09:54 am | Deirdre | Diary
I find that when women are standing in high heels on the television I can’t help watching them as they shuffle from foot to foot as each one hurts. They think that men like high heels. If they do then they should wear them!
Poorer nations
Fri 19th Feb, at 09:17 am | Deirdre | Diary
Britain will donate most of its surplus Covid vaccines to poorer nations once we have all had our jabs. This promise has been made ahead of the G7 meeting of the world’s wealthiest countries.
