Several of my friends went out looking for my cat and one of them designed a poster. We are hoping to receive 50 of them in the post today. I am really exhausted. I phoned everyone I could think of. Another friend came with poly pockets and we shared some wine. Just what I needed!

My cat Lily has gone missing. I haven’t seen her since I went to bed on Tuesday night. I was very busy yesterday and didn’t realise that she was missing until late morning. What has happened to her I don’t know.

I am very aware that if I get Covid then I will probably not survive so I am a little worried that there have been 124 deaths from it in our nearest hospital.

Things are coming to a head in Coronation Street this week. Geoff is being caught out. Big major storyline!

The number of Coronavirus cases seems to be going up and people seem to have accepted that there will be a second wave. Goodness knows what will become of us.

In April the President of the Nigerian Humanist Association was arrested for blasphemy. He was accused of insulting the prophet Muhammad. No official charges have been brought but he has been transferred to Kano  where blasphemy is punishable by death and he has been denied a lawyer. No proof that he is still alive as he hasn’t been seen or heard of since his arrest.

The Haulage Association say to the government that we are not ready for Brexit at the end of the year. Apparently, nothing is arranged because we do not know yet whether we will have a deal or not. Terrible!

I wonder if dentists have gone back to normal or still emergencies only. I don’t suppose that they have but I will give them a ring.

I have had great difficulty trying to catch my breath whilst wearing a mask and know that with COPD and asthma I am exempt. I now have some visors which I will wear instead.

What a battle going on in America. I have my ‘Black lives matter’ poster in my front window.
