I asked my friend if the ceramic cat had survived it’s firing and she told me that it has to dry out first which would take about a week and even then it might break up. She must have loads of patience – waiting that long would drive me potty – worse than bread making. Ugh!

My dear friend, a potter, sent me pictures of the birds she had made that afternoon and I said I would love a cat. So she made me one. It’s lovely!

Now that some people aren’t going to church as usual the BBC have put Sunday Worship on Sunday morning viewing. I understand why but what about those of us who don’t believe in God and watch the ethical and moral programmes of discussion which are usually on.

My poor cat Lily has bladder disease and has another bout of cystitis. I now have an anti inflammatory which I hope will help her.

Still at least nine weeks for me and another three weeks for most people. Ugh!

Hurray for Captain Tom. He is nearly 100 years old and he has been trying to walk 100 laps of his garden before his birthday to raise money for the nhs and so far he has raised £12 million.

I had a very scary dream in the early hours where an alien plant was trying to get me. My Dad (who has been dead many years) came to my rescue. But there were many of these plants outside. Scary!

I still have severe back pain and thinking perhaps I should phone the doctor. See what they say.

I had just turned my alarm off at 7.00 when the doorbell rang. This time it was a food parcel – brilliant!

Waiting and hoping that the painkillers will soon kick in. The doorbell just rang and I went downstairs – it was my very kind neighbours with chocolate which was on the doorstep. Very kind of them!
