Still taking the tablets…

So far!

They keep saying that they are going to test more people especially NHS workers but it doesn’t seem to happen, so far!

Wretched!

I had to stay up until very late last night and this morning I feel like I haven’t been to bed. I feel wretched!

Near future

I am very tired this morning. All this worry is very tiring. Not being able to go out for at least twelve weeks means worrying about trying to get food in  – not only for now but looking into the near future. And I am someone who has ordered my groceries online for many years.

Still here

A lot more deaths in the UK each day now. They have said it would get worse before it gets better. I suppose we just have to hang on and hope that we are still here at the end of it!

New normal

I have received a mound of emails some of which have asked me to do things. I don’t do technology because I find it very difficult and stressful. I wish things would go back to the way they were before but some are saying that will never happen – there will be a new normal in the future.

The Coronavirus

The Coronavirus is very contagious – the Prime Minister, the Health Secretary and the Chief Medical Officer all have it. Ugh!

Brilliant!

So I stayed up last night and at 8.00pm I went outside and, along with most of my neighbours we clapped for the nhs and all the others caring for us at this time. Very emotional. My next door neighbour filmed it from his dormer and shared it with me. It was beautiful. Brilliant!

No alcohol

I received the nhs letter which said the same as the text messages about me being high risk. In addition it said not to smoke, drink alcohol or do drugs. I must admit that I have been having a glass of red wine with my dinner to get me through but it does mask how one is feeling. Oh well!

My neighbour

My neighbour who knocked with her two sons and new puppy gave me a little bottle of Zinc and Vitamin C. She said from the other side of the gate that she and her sons take it and they never go down with anything. So I gave it a try yesterday. Will try to remember to take it daily. Very kind of her

Text message

I received a text message from NHS. It said that I have been identified as high risk and I should stay at home for at least twelve weeks. It also said that I should pack a bag with pjs etc.
