I had a visit from J the gardener who popped in for my New Statesman that I had finished reading earlier. We ended up talking for quite a long time.

I’m aware that fairly soon I am going to have to go out. I haven’t done that for quite a while and I’m finding the thought of it very scary.

I woke up early as usual and was wondering whether to have a bath and wash my hair but I was cold and just decided to have a quick wash and postpone hair wash to another day. Pretty feeble. Life just muddles along when you don’t go out! I can now read my New Statesman which arrived very late. I look forward to it.

There’s a certain company who brag that they are experts in the gum department. Well an important part of the mouth is to taste. But this particular product tastes absolutely disgusting. I refuse to use it which is a shame because it’s a really good product.

I had someone coming tomorrow to help me try out my bath chair lift again but I decided that I would go ahead and try it by myself. So I am very happy that I managed it and I am lovely and clean.

I have had a lovely Mother’s Day and had a very close conversation with my son. He sent some lovely stuff and we discussed things that needed to be said and I feel much better since. A good day.

I have visitors coming today. I’m nearly dressed thankfully so glad that I don’t have much to do. I still have a few hours to sort myself out.

I have had real difficulty getting up this morning. Haven’t got dressed as might have a bath and wash my hair if I can muster the strength but I don’t think so. Someone coming later!

There’s a certain person who seems to be very happy if he can cause mayhem and he has money in oil or so l hear. I don’t know a lot but maybe he knows exactly what he is doing.

Sometimes, with the television, they show people on both sides of a conflict. That those on both sides are feeling pretty much the same thing.
