I meant to say a very happy Easter Sunday to everyone much earlier but I have been kind of busy eating chocolate and sharing good wishes so l just hope everybody has had a really good day.

I know of a former matriarchal family where the mother figure turned all of her family to think a sort of thing, yes of course, you might think, these things pass down, but to turn the whole family against a certain dominant colour like red or yellow, and the whole family would revolve around making the mother figure happy.

I don’t think I was brought up to beat everyone else but to do my best. At least that’s how I have developed. So, to be honest, I don’t really have a competitive spirit. I see most sport as being the same – mostly all the different things one can do with a ball. And, at the moment, they are all on the television which, for me, is very boring.

As l was brought up as a Roman Catholic I am used to celebrating Easter. But no I enjoy the things I have kept like chocolate and nice food, seeing people l am close to and having days of rest (not that such a thing doesn’t happen anyway) and discarding everything else. Brilliant!

My friend S was coming today but she is unwell. That’s a shame. I will have to rewrite my day!
